Hey Iffly writers!
I have been sitting on this announcement for a while and I am SO excited to finally share it. We've been hard at work building out new features for Iffly based on what you all have been asking for, and today I get to tell you that two of the most-requested ones are officially live.
Here's what's new:
🖼️ Images in Games
You can now add images directly into your content blocks. Set the mood, introduce characters, build atmosphere, guide your players visually, whatever you can imagine. (I'm secretly hoping someone makes an interactive web comic. Just putting that out there.)
🤝 Collaborators
Game creation doesn't have to be a solo journey anymore. You can now invite others to write with you, beta read, edit, and playtest your work; all without publishing. Hey, you could even collaborate with an artist who can utilize the first feature I mentioned.
How to Get Access
Right now, images and collaborators are available exclusively for Ko-fi supporters. Here's everything that comes with a $5/month membership:

- A seat in our writer Discord, which is where the Iffly writing community lives; it's a great place to get feedback, find collaborators, and connect with other interactive fiction writers.
- A vote on new features as we build them out
A Glimpse at our Roadmap
These two features are the start of a much bigger roadmap. Over the next couple of years, we're planning to roll out a lot more premium features. Variables, sound, style customization, comments, and other higher-level features that will give writers even more creative control over their stories. Don't worry: the basic writing tool will always be free. But we're also excited to offer more options to more writers as we grow.
A note on how this works: eventually, premium features like these will be available as an upgrades directly on the Iffly platform, and for a higher cost. But while we're still building, we're offering them as perks to our Ko-fi supporters first, at this discounted rate. Most importantly: whoever supports us on Iffly right now will always have access to all premium features we build, for only $5/month.
We can't promise that forever-discount to everyone, which is why seats are limited. No matter what we add to the roadmap, Ko-fi subscribers get access for $5/month. It's our way of saying thank you for believing in Iffly from the beginning.
